This role delivers a seamless onboarding experience for financial reps across distribution channels, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with MAS Representative Notification Framework (RNF) through robust Fit & Proper assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Review, assess, and escalate cases with adverse findings or recommended monitoring in accordance with MAS RNF guidelines.
• Conduct continuous monitoring activities, including periodic reviews and screenings with distribution channels.
• Perform annual Fit & Proper evaluations, including screening and declaration exercises.
• Review, update, and maintain Fit & Proper frameworks, SOPs, and processes in line with MAS Notices, regulatory changes, and business needs.

• Oversee daily credit monitoring across all distribution channels.
• Prepare and deliver management reports on distribution channel cohorts, performance profiles, and monitoring outcomes.
• Provide timely reports for management, industry submissions, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage and support internal and external audit requests.

• Identify and implement automation and digitalisation opportunities to streamline processes (e.g., eRecruitment, workflow digitisation).
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve operational goals and uphold service excellence.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of MAS guidelines, including the Representative Notification Framework (RNF) and related regulatory notices.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in insurance distribution operations or regulatory compliance, preferably within Life Insurance distribution channels.
• Proven experience in Fit & Proper assessments, enhanced monitoring, and regulatory governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to work effectively across compliance, IT, legal, and distribution teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in process optimisation, automation, and digital transformation.
