Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and inspire a dynamic sales team to consistently achieve and exceed ambitious targets
  • Develop high-performing sales professionals through coaching, mentoring, and strategic guidance
  • Foster collaborative team environment while driving individual and collective success

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to capture market opportunities
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging business opportunities and trends
  • Drive strategic initiatives that position the company as the leading instrumentation valve provider

Client Relationship Excellence

  • Negotiate high-value contracts and manage key client relationships across Oil & Gas sector
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with major industry players and decision-makers
  • Serve as primary point of contact for strategic accounts and complex technical discussions

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize team effectiveness
  • Prepare detailed sales performance reports and strategic recommendations for Sales Director
  • Implement data-driven approaches to forecast sales trends and market opportunities

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Additional qualifications in business management or sales are advantageous

Professional Experience

  • Proven track record in sales strategy development and successful team leadership
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with Oil & Gas customers or instrumentation/valves strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets

Core Competencies

  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams
  • Negotiation Expertise: Strong contract negotiation and deal-closing capabilities
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Client Relations: Outstanding relationship management and communication skills
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of instrumentation valves and Oil & Gas applications

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 Driving License and own vehicle preferred
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities
  • Strong presentation skills and executive presence
