As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Primary and Secondary School offerings. We are currently seeking dynamic and passionate French Teachers who are available to join us during the January and April 2026 academic year. We also welcome expressions of interest from candidates looking ahead to August 2026 and beyond.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Language Teacher to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for teaching French across primary and/or secondary levels, nurturing students' language proficiency, cultural appreciation, and confidence in communication.
This role demands a passion for French, strong classroom management, and an ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective French language curriculum and lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
- Develop students' language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Promote cultural awareness by integrating French history, customs, and traditions into learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders on student development.
- Participate actively in extracurricular and cultural activities related to the French language.
- Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and educational technologies.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, French, or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PGDE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
- Proficiency in French (native or near-native level) and excellent command of English.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge curriculum for primary and/or secondary programmes.
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including EAL learners.
- Demonstrated classroom management, instructional planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including trips, clubs, and cultural events.
