Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support for the company's video game publishing and distribution operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to game publishing, licensing, and distribution.
  • Advise business teams on contract terms, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including game content approvals and data protection laws.
  • Support corporate governance and assist in M&A transactions when required.
  • Coordinate with external law firms and corporate secretaries as needed.
  • Assist with drafting of minutes and corporate resolutions.
  • Resolve routine corporate legal matters and provide general legal guidance.
  • Handle other legal tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal role.
  • Experience in commercial contract review and negotiation, particularly under Singapore law.
  • Ability to work independently and manage legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and practical business sense.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) for contract negotiations with Chinese partners.
  • Independent at work while being able to work collaboratively at all levels and across functions.
  • Good legal research skills, including for foreign jurisdictions
  • Resourceful, ability to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Organization skills with ability to monitor follow-through
  • Familiarity with PRC legal frameworks, particularly in gaming or digital industries, is an advantage but not required.
  • Singaporean and PR preferred
