Position Objective:

• To support end to end product development cycle from product conceptualisation and development to implementation and monitoring

Job Description:

Product Development:

• Assist with preparation of market comparison as well as relevant market statistics to support the development of competitive products of the company
• Engage relevant stakeholders such as Distribution channels to develop innovative product ideas and meaningful product propositions and solutions
• Assist with preparation of product related presentation slides for meetings include Product Development and Marketing Committee (PDMC) and Senior Management Team (SMT) etc.
• Drive and participate actively on the assigned projects or initiatives

Product Implementation:

• Conduct meetings to walkthrough new product features and to coordinate product development timelines via Product Launch Work Group (PLWG)
• Assist with preparation of product documents which include product proposal paper, product specifications, product summary, policy provisions, product factsheet, competitive analysis or any special document that can assist in the sales process
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant user requirements are provided in a timely manner
• Provide support for new products setup and to participate in preparing test cases for UAT and conduct product related UAT for new product launches
• To prepare documents required for regulatory submission and submission of any product related regulatory (LIA/MAS) request or changes etc
• Assist to follow-up with the post-launch requirements to be delivered on schedule

Others:

• To provide department related weekly news update to the relevant internal department
• To support in the Annual Bonus Statement Update exercise
• To participate in other projects assigned by the department head

Job Requirements:

• Good degree in Actuarial Science or closely related subjects, such as Data Analysis and Mathematics
• Job title and rank depend on the number of years of actuarial working experience in Life/GI insurance
• Experience and knowledge in life insurance products and the Singapore life insurance market preferred
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
• Demonstrates creativity, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and team player
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
