Job Responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of animal care and husbandry teams across multiple facilities.
- Oversee manpower deployment, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure all staff comply with animal care, handling, and safety standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for project matters and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety, health, and risk management practices.
- Prepare and submit operational reports, performance assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards and contract specifications are met.
- Implement training and development programs for animal husbandry staff.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or ad-hoc service requests.
- Ensure all operations adhere to legal, safety, and ethical requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on animal handling or animal husbandry experience.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written).
- Familiarity with animal care, welfare, and handling practices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety (WSH) standards and risk management.
- Diploma or higher in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, Life Sciences, or related field preferred (O-Level with strong experience will be considered).
