Responsibilities

• Design and conduct lab-based exercises and practical modules for chemical engineering students.
• Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP), bringing real-world experience to applied learning.
• Lead or co-lead applied research and innovation projects in collaboration with industry partners (SMEs/MNCs).
• Manage laboratories, oversee equipment and resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO9001, OSHA, BSI).
• Stay current with advancements in chemical process technology and guide students on industry best practices.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree, Master or PHD in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• More than 10+ years of hands-on experience in chemical process technology, particularly in unit operations such as Heat Exchangers, Distillation Columns, Reactors, and Cooling Towers.
• Proficient with process simulation/design software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen).
• Experienced in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-OES/MS) and Quality Management Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineers or interns; passion for applied teaching.
• Industrial certifications or professional accreditation are a strong advantage
