Basic Salary: Up to $4,700 per month
Background:
Are you passionate about supporting youths in creating positive change in the society? Are you looking to nurture youth-led ground-up initiatives?
My client works with youth and youth sector organisations to curate opportunities for youths. You will play a crucial role in (1) designing and delivering key grants and/or platforms to support youths and informal youth groups, (2) forging and maintaining relationships with diverse key stakeholders and (3) administering relevant grants to support youth ground-up initiatives. You will also work closely with partners to provide hands-on assistance and guidance in crafting their project's key performance indicators, accessing funding opportunities and ultimately, delivering their projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Grant Administration and Management
• Assess and administer grants to ground-up youth groups. This includes the applications and closures of grants, ensuring proper governance and accounting.
• Drive process developments and improvements to grants, such as YCM, and work with internal stakeholders to review key processes and implement appropriate changes to enhance overall experience.
• Perform data processing, management and reporting.
Partnership with Youths
• Propose new ways to grow and forge partnerships to encourage and enable youth action.
• Support youth-led ground-up projects by connecting them to relevant networks, amplification channels, mentors, grants and potential partners.
• Maintain relationships with the Young ChangeMakers (YCM) curators and co-deliver activities that increase the brand awareness of YCM.
• Coordinate and organise monthly YCM Open Mics.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in working with youth and/or supporting ground-up initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire trust with young people and stakeholders.
