Job Description:
Job Requirements:
- Plan and manage all purchasing activities.
- Evaluate suppliers for construction materials and equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms.
- Monitor procurement budget and implement cost saving strategies to ensure that each project does not exceed the budget.
- Review and approve purchase orders that are within budget and in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, purchasing activities and inventory.
- Oversee and ensure that all procurement activities comply with Singapore legislation.
- Coordinate and work closely with project team to ensure the smooth process of procurement activities for construction materials and equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of purchasing experience in Singapore's construction industry, especially LTA projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Detailed oriented and meticulous.
