Job Description:
  • Plan and manage all purchasing activities.
  • Evaluate suppliers for construction materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and payment terms.
  • Monitor procurement budget and implement cost saving strategies to ensure that each project does not exceed the budget.
  • Review and approve purchase orders that are within budget and in accordance with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of pricing, purchasing activities and inventory.
  • Oversee and ensure that all procurement activities comply with Singapore legislation.
  • Coordinate and work closely with project team to ensure the smooth process of procurement activities for construction materials and equipment.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of purchasing experience in Singapore's construction industry, especially LTA projects.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous.
