Job Description & Requirements

• 5.5 days office hours duties

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provides imaging services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations and according to acceptable standards.
• To ensure familiarization of use and correct handling of imaging equipment to avoid incorrect equipment usage.
• Understands and performs quality control activities to ensure that radiology medical equipment are functioning according to specifications
• Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
• Provide quality customer service to patients.
• To ensure compliance of radiology safety policy.
• To perform ultrasound in different parts of the body.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Sonography / Radiography / Medical Imaging Science related
• Willing and keen to transit to a Radigrapher (after two years)
• Fully registered with AHPC
• with few years of experience preferably in the public healthcare
