Job Description
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for steel pipes (seamless, welded, API/ASTM grades).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
- Deliver impactful technical and commercial presentations to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and contractors.
- Ensure timely response to inquiries, quotations, and orders while following up to secure repeat business.
- Possess solid knowledge of steel pipe specifications, grades, standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO), and coatings/linings.
- Provide technical advice to clients and collaborate with manufacturers to develop accurate bids and proposals.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend new initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Liaise with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or technical products.
- Familiarity with international product standards is an advantage.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
