About Our Client

Our client is a leading international trading and distribution company specializing in steel pipes and industrial products. With a strong presence across key industries such as oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing, they are known for their technical expertise, reliable supply chain, and long-term customer partnerships.

Job Description

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for steel pipes (seamless, welded, API/ASTM grades).
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Deliver impactful technical and commercial presentations to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and contractors.
  • Ensure timely response to inquiries, quotations, and orders while following up to secure repeat business.
  • Possess solid knowledge of steel pipe specifications, grades, standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO), and coatings/linings.
  • Provide technical advice to clients and collaborate with manufacturers to develop accurate bids and proposals.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Recommend new initiatives to strengthen market presence.
  • Liaise with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor project timelines and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or technical products.
  • Familiarity with international product standards is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
