Pet Groomer (Dogs, Cats & Small Animals)

Our well-established and growing pet shop is seeking a caring and patient Pet Groomer to join the team! If you enjoy working with dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals - and have the skills to keep them looking and feeling their best - we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Groom and style pets according to owners' requests or standard grooming practices.
• Perform de-matting, detangling, bathing, conditioning, and drying.
• Provide hygiene care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Handle pets with patience and care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
• Identify and highlight potential health concerns (e.g., skin issues, ear infections, dental problems) to pet owners.
• Recommend suitable pet care products and solutions.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe grooming environment.
• Guide and supervise Assistant Groomers in their daily tasks.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on grooming experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits.
• Class C Certification in Pet Grooming.
• Ability to mentor and oversee Assistant Groomers.
• Genuine passion for animals, with patience and a caring approach.
