I'm helping an international school in Singapore seeking a seasoned compliance professional to lead all matters related to SSG/CPE inspections and EduTrust certification renewals. The role requires deep knowledge of the education sector and proven experience engaging with government authorities.

This person will ensure that the school consistently meets regulatory standards, successfully renews and maintains EduTrust certification, and navigates compliance challenges as the school expands to new campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of SSG/CPE inspections and EduTrust audits, renewals, and certifications.
• Serve as the main point of contact with Singapore government bodies (CPE, SSG, MOE, and other relevant agencies).
• Oversee compliance frameworks for the school, ensuring adherence to all EduTrust and PEI regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date policies, processes, and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Advise senior leadership on regulatory requirements, local practices, and cultural considerations (e.g., site selection for new campuses).
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance systems and proactively mitigate regulatory risks.

Requirements

• Comfortable engaging with local government and regulators.
• 10+ years of experience in the education sector, ideally in international or private schools with EduTrust certification.
• Hands-on experience with EduTrust audits, renewals, and licensing.
• Strong understanding of SSG/CPE compliance requirements for international and private education institutions.
• Proven leadership experience managing compliance teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Mandarin is required due to the need to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and counterparts
