Contracts Manager (Regional ID Firm)

Responsibilities:
• Establish and lead the QS & Contracts function across multiple regional offices.
• Provide oversight and guidance on contract administration and project cost management.
• Support senior management in departmental matters and strategic initiatives.
• Lead the team through all project stages, from design and tender to construction, completion, and final account closure.
• Draft and review contractual correspondences, variation orders, extension of time claims, and related documentation.
• Review tender submissions and provide direction to the team.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and terms.
• Monitor project costs, progress, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess claims, manage disputes, and ensure timely resolutions.
• Oversee project accounts, payments, and final settlements with all parties.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and contract administration practices
• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Effective leader and team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Regional experience will be an advantage
