Job Description
- Function as clinical assistant in plastic surgery practice
- Assist in consultations and postoperative reviews, perform dressing changes, remove sutures, manage surgical drains, dispense medications and medical grade skincare, book appointments including for surgical procedures, communicate with patients
- Assist in non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as Botox, filler and other injections and laser treatments
- Perform non-surgical body contouring and skin tightening treatments
- Function as surgical assistant and circulating assistant during surgery
- Handle various aspects of insurance claims including liaising with insurance companies over payment arrangements
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records
- Handle clinical photographs
- Other tasks as directed by practice manager and medical director
