Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

1. Teach Physics at H1, H2 and H3 levels (includes lectures, tutorials, practical lessons; involved in setting and marking of assessments)
2. Be involved in the holistic development of highly able students through quality teaching and learning, pastoral care and co-curricular activities
3. Make meaningful contributions to the school (e.g. through committee work) and partner stakeholders (e.g. parents) to help students achieve learning objectives
4. Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department and/or School

Job Requirements

• A graduate with a good Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline or a related discipline
• Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching qualification will be an advantage
• Experience and interest in mentoring students in talent development programmes such as Singapore Physics Olympiad and the Young Physicists Tournament would be an advantage (but not a requirement)
• Enjoy teaching highly able students, and working with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders
• A team player who is committed and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
