Job Description

• Build and lead a global quality team with ownership of supplier, production, and field quality.
• Design and implement a custom QMS, including SCARs, 8D, traceability, and CTQs.
• Own ISO 9001 certification end-to-end; lead all audits and maintain compliance.
• Oversee quality performance of key suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Enforce QA/QC discipline at manufacturing sites: SOPs, CTQs, burn-in, outgoing inspection.
• Drive closure of field-reported hardware and software issues with cross-functional teams.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA processes for escalations and top defects.
• Implement quality dashboards and scorecards for leadership visibility.
• Build a strong quality culture through training, coaching, and relentless follow-up.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience building or transforming a quality function from the ground up.
• Strong background in physical product manufacturing with embedded software.
• Hands-on experience managing supplier quality and contract manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of QMS tools (SCAR, 8D, CTQs, ISO standards).
• Track record of leading ISO 9001 certification.
• Comfortable managing both hardware and software field escalations.
• Excellent communicator - equally confident in a factory, boardroom, or supplier site.
