Summary:

• 4-Years Contract (Convertible)
• Government Sector (West region)
• AWS + PB

Responsibilities:

• Support management reporting and participate in the annual budgeting process (operating and capital budgets), including coordinating, compiling, and reviewing departmental expenditure requirements and justifications, and providing updates on budget adequacy and variances during projections.
• Assist departments with operating budget queries, and monitor capital and operating budget expenditure/utilisation during monthly or quarterly performance reviews and purchase requisition requests to ensure proper budgetary controls.
• Support timely month-end and year-end account closures and prepare monthly/quarterly reports for submission to external agencies.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits, coordinate with HQ departments on workflows and queries, and investigate any discrepancies with external parties.
• Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participate in system implementation projects.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent.
• Min. of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with a curious mindset, good business acumen, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• A collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
