Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and consistent delivery of results.
- Lead the development of new business proposals and actively participate in pitches to grow the client base.
- Proactively seek networking opportunities and identify potential new business leads.
- Plan and execute integrated communications strategies across PR, social media, and both owned and earned content.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media, spokespeople, and influencers.
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients, managing deliverables, securing approvals, and monitoring progress.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client's business, industry landscape, and market trends.
- Manage and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and performance.
- Oversee project timelines and key milestones, ensuring timely delivery of presentations, approvals, and production assets.
- Lead the planning, writing, and editing of content for a variety of internal and external communication channels.
- Stay immersed in the media landscape, from tracking daily news and emerging trends to building media intelligence.
Who we're looking for:
- Degree or diploma in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing.
- Strong background in PR and integrated communications.
- 4-6 years of experience in a PR agency environment
- Proven track record in managing multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a process-driven approach.
- Strong media relations skills, with established connections where possible.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
