Seashell Academy, under Xinghai Education Group, specialises in Mathematics, Science, and Chinese tuition for primary school students preparing for the PSLE. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Science Curriculum Specialist to join our academic team, leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of our science programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

Design, review, and update Science curriculum aligned with MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements.

Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and enrichment content.

Ensure curriculum stays engaging, relevant, and effective for different learning levels.

Teacher Training & Support

Conduct training workshops and provide academic support to Science teachers.

Share best practices in pedagogy, classroom management, and exam techniques.

Academic Research & Innovation

Monitor education trends, PSLE changes, and student learning needs.

Propose innovative teaching methods, technology integration, and hands-on activities.

Quality Assurance

Regularly observe lessons, provide feedback, and ensure consistency in teaching delivery.

Analyse student performance data and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

At least 3 years of experience in curriculum design, teaching, or academic R&D (PSLE/primary level preferred).

Strong knowledge of Singapore MOE syllabus and PSLE Science exam trends.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese is a plus).

Passionate about education, detail-oriented, and innovative in pedagogy.
