Duties

• Teach in Mandarin the French Curriculum to one or more classes.
• Participate in the formation and execution of the school's action plan.
• Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB and ECDA standards.
• Establish and maintain communication and collaboration systems among staff members.

If while carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School Principal so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third-party services.

Contribution to the Whole School

• Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of programs and policies which promote excellence in student learning, social and emotional development in an international environment.
• Capacity to respond to emerging educational needs and priorities in an international environment.

Working Hours:

• 5 days a week between Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (including a one-hour lunch break)
• 1 day a week, you will be in charge of one (1) ECA from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• 1 day a week, you will be attending a pedagogical meeting/training.
• One half-day Saturday per month:Attendance at school functions, meetings, events, and professional development days as required.
