Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including P&L management, revenue
recognition, cost tracking (OOP and non-billables), and financial reporting.
• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including close processes, accruals,
bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and maintenance of accounting schedules.
• Drive annual budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term financial planning across departments,
teams, and projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST/VAT, corporate income tax filings,
and audits; liaise with both external and internal auditors.
• Manage year-end financial closing and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in audit
preparation.
• Coordinate with the parent company and HQ finance teams on group consolidation reporting
and alignment of financial data.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including Balance Sheet items, Fixed Asset Register,
Depreciation Schedules, Supplier Masterfile, and Interest Income.
• Partner with Client Servicing, Media, and Marketing Operations teams to manage unbilled
inventory, accounts receivables, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Oversee vendor payments and track aging receivables/payables to ensure healthy cash flow
and vendor relations.
• Prepare and present Client Profitability analyses and monthly financial reports, highlighting
variances, trends, and actionable insights for the Management Team.
• Monitor manpower utilisation and reconcile estimated versus actual time spent to support
pricing accuracy and resource planning.
• Support other finance-related duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• This role reports directly to the Managing Director of the agency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or FP&A
certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting-preferably within a
digital, media, or agency environment.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and interpret scenario-based models; familiarity with
Xero and/or MYOB is an advantage.
• Proven ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively to non-finance
stakeholders.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines while working cross-
functionally.
