️ Key Responsibilities

⚖️ Regulatory & Legal Advisory

• Provide legal advice on IMDA's regulatory affairs - Telecommunications, Post, Media, and Data Protection (PDPC).
• Advise on areas including administrative law, TMT/ICT, competition law, regulatory instruments, exercise of regulatory powers, enforcement proceedings, and appeals.

Policy & Legislative Support

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the development of legislation, regulatory frameworks, and policies.

Contract & Corporate Advisory

• Draft, review, and advise on contracts.
• Support IMDA's corporate and industry development functions with legal expertise.

Risk & Governance

• Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies for effective management.
• Establish and maintain internal governance policies to ensure compliance.

⚔️ Dispute Resolution

• Advise on contentious legal issues.
• Manage litigation matters in coordination with external counsel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• ⚖️ Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in Singapore.
• 6-8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in legal practice and/or corporate in-house (TMT, ICT, data protection).
• ⚔️ Prior litigation experience is preferred.
• ️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
