The Night Shift Technician (On Standby) is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services during overnight hours. The role involves being on call to respond to emergencies, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment or systems operate efficiently. The technician works independently or as part of a team to address issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Standby Availability: Remain on call during the night shift to respond to urgent technical issues, equipment failures, or system malfunctions within a specified response time.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues with equipment, machinery, or systems ( EV Charger and Telecommunication and Security System ).
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during downtime to prevent future issues, including inspections, testing, and servicing of equipment.
• Monitoring Systems: Monitor equipment or systems (e.g., via control panels, software, or sensors) to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Documentation: Log all maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs in a maintenance management system, ensuring accurate records of work performed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and industry-specific regulations.
• Communication: Report issues, updates, or escalations to supervisors or the day shift team, ensuring seamless handover of tasks.
• Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, alerts, or calls promptly, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Inventory Management: Ensure availability of necessary tools, spare parts, or materials for repairs, and report low stock levels to supervisors.
