Key Responsibilities

1.\tProcess Study & Documentation

• Observe and map the current workflows from order receipt to execution.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual steps.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

2.\tData Analysis

• Collect and analyses data on lead times, demand forecasting, yield losses, and throughput.
• Study historical planning accuracy vs. actual production.

3.\tOrder Receiving & Promising

• Understand the system/process of handling new orders.
• Evaluate how customer commitments are made (capacity, lead time, raw material availability).
• Suggest improvements to make order promising more accurate and reliable.

4.\tOptimization & Automation

• Research planning tools/software being used and explore automation opportunities.
• Recommend integration points (ERP, MES, forecasting tools).
• Propose ways to reduce manual intervention.

5.\tYield Loss Reduction & Throughput Maximization

• Analyze production data to identify yield loss points.
• Collaborate with production & quality teams to understand causes.
• Suggest process changes or optimization algorithms to minimize losses.

6.\tReporting & Recommendations

• Create reports summarizing findings, improvement opportunities, and expected impact.
• Present suggestions with cost-benefit analysis to management.
