Betel Box Backpackers Hostel & Tours in Joo Chiat/ Katong/ East Coast is looking for Full-time and Part-time Hostel Assistants.

Duties:

• Reception: reservations, check in/out guest, cashier
• Light Housekeeping and Laundry
• Provide Travel and Tourist Advice
• Participate and lead in activities with guests

Ideal attributes

• Patient, Organised, Jovial, Proactive
• Strong interest in sharing what is there to see and do in Singapore
• Enjoys meeting tourists

Full-time Remuneration and Arrangements

• Mandatory 10-day training
• 5-day work-week fixed shifts for Full-time position
• 7 days annual leave allotment after 2 months' probation (Full-time position)
• Salary (full-time): $2400- $2800 monthly before CPF deductions. 13th month AWS

Part-time Remuneration and Arrangements

• Mandatory 10-day training
• Salary (part-time): S$10 per hour before CPF deductions (after 2-month probation). 6-months retention bonus.
• Minimum 2 shifts per week

Requirements

• Minimum 17 years old
• Singapore Citizen, PR
• Minimum 'N' levels
• Good communicator in English; additional languages will be advantageous
• Computer/ internet/ social media/ Microsoft Office skills
• Preferably living in the East Coast area
