Claims Adjuster

[Key Duties]
n Primary point of contact and advocate for cedant in all claims-related matters
n Negotiate with reinsurers on behalf of cedant to ensure fair and timely settlement of claims
n Work to resolve complex or disputed claims
n Receive loss notifications from cedants and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for submission to reinsurers
n Review and interpret complex reinsurance wordings and underlying policies to determine coverage
n Prepare and submit claims to reinsurers in accordance with reinsurance conditions
n Proactively monitor the progress of claims with reinsurers, follow up on outstanding payments, and provide regular updates to cedants
n Maintain accurate records of all claims, correspondences, and financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards
n Ensure all claims activities comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS regulations in Singapore) and industry standards
n Collaborate with internal brokers and accounting teams to ensure seamless delivery and information flow
n Identify opportunities to improve claims handling processes, enhance efficiency, and leverage for better claims management
[Key Experience / Skills]
• + 0 years of working experience in a claims-handling role
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal; public speaking skills; deep understanding of business principles and practices
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Words/PowerPoint etc.
