Job Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for engineering services to meet organisational objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and fostering strong partnerships.
• Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative sourcing solutions.
• Oversee tendering processes, including preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and deliver optimal procurement solutions.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain service quality and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed reports and analyses to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• A strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
• Proven experience in managing engineering services procurement or related categories.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of public sector regulations and procurement compliance requirements is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
