Job Description
The research fellow will work closely with Miklos Santha and Patrick Rebentrost on developing novel quantum algorithms and subroutines. A particular focus is developing quantum methods that have potential application in the context of machine learning and finance. The work is both theoretical, i.e., formulating and proving theorems, and numerical, i.e., converting algorithms into circuits and simulating them. The job will involve proof-of-concept hardware demonstrations of quantum algorithms.

Qualifications
- A doctorate in mathematics, computer science, physics, or equivalent from a top university.
- Demonstrated research in the development of quantum algorithms towards applications.
- Proven ability to communicate research in written and spoken form.
