The ESSEC Digital Disruption Chair is seeking a highly organized and motivated junior professional to join as a Research Manager based at the Singapore campus. The successful candidate will support the Chairholder and Executive Directors in project management, social media communication, partner engagement, research-driven thought leadership initiatives, and student-related activities. Despite that the role is based in Singapore, a lot of the interactions will be with Chair stakeholders based in France. This is a full-time, fixed-term 1 year contract (renewable)

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Support the ongoing development of the Digital Disruption Matrix.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data from internal teams, industry stakeholders, and external sources.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including industry partners, academic researchers, and students.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, presentations, analytics dashboards, and other documentation.
  • Manage updates and maintain content for the Chair's and Matrix websites, digital brochures, newsletters, and other communication materials.
  • Coordinate collaboration with external partners, vendors, and consulting firms.

Research & Thought Leadership:
  • Support the production of white papers, policy briefs, industry reports, and thought leadership content.
  • Draft, edit, and refine presentations, press releases, and other public-facing materials.
  • Perform desk research and analyze trends related to digital disruption, innovation, and strategic management.
  • Assist in disseminating research findings across diverse audiences, both academic and professional.

Chair Program Support (Students & Industry Engagement):
  • Facilitate student-related activities, including coordinating company visits, industry projects, and support for student projects.
  • Act as a liaison between students and industry stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and successful collaboration.
  • Support events and activities organized by the Digital Disruption Chair, such as workshops, guest lectures, and seminars.
  • Assist in managing social media channels to promote student work, projects, and chair-related activities.
  • Participate in calls and meetings with partner companies to foster relationships and support collaborative initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (recent graduate preferred) in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Strategy, or a closely related field.
  • Internship or initial experience in project management, research support, consultancy, or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (liaison with French-speaking stakeholders in France)
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity or interest in digital technologies, innovation ecosystems, and strategic management frameworks.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office Suite, and basic analytics tools.
  • Experience or familiarity in managing website content and using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Experience or interest in managing and creating engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Autonomous, proactive, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.
