Business Credit Risk - SME Finance

Singapore | Full-Time | Competitive Salary

We are seeking an experienced Business Credit Risk Officer to oversee SME loan portfolios and ensure prudent lending practices. You will play a key role in evaluating creditworthiness and mitigating financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess SME loan applications for credit risk and compliance
• Analyse financial statements, business performance, and industry trends
• Recommend loan structures and terms aligned with risk policies
• Monitor loan performance and identify early warning signs of default
• Develop and implement risk management strategies
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• At least 5 years' experience in credit risk or credit assessment within financial services
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of SME financing practices
• Familiarity with MAS regulations and non-bank lending policies preferred
