Key Responsibilities

\t• \tFinancial Strategy & Management

\t• \tOversee full spectrum of financial operations including accounting, cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting, and taxation.

\t• \tDevelop financial strategies to support business growth in retail, e-commerce (Shopee, online platforms), and export sales.

\t• \tManage treasury and working capital to ensure healthy cashflow.

\t• \tFinancial Reporting & Compliance

\t• \tEnsure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

\t• \tEnsure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), IRAS tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

\t• \tLiaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government bodies (CPF, MOM, IRAS).

\t• \tInternal Controls & Process Improvement

\t• \tStrengthen internal controls, implement policies and SOPs to minimize risk.

\t• \tReview and improve accounting processes, including ERP system integration for finance, sales, and inventory.

\t• \tSupport digital transformation projects, including automation of reporting and cost controls.

\t• \tLeadership & Business Partnering

\t• \tLead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

\t• \tWork closely with senior management and business units to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.

\t• \tPartner with sales and operations teams to manage pricing, rebates, vendor financing, and cost efficiency.
