Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hotel's business objectives and lifestyle positioning.
  • Act as a business partner to the General Manager and department heads, providing guidance on people-related matters.
  • Champion the brand's culture, values, and employee engagement initiatives.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection.
  • Build strong employer branding to attract talent suited to lifestyle hospitality.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation programs that integrate new hires into the culture.

3. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs across departments and design programs that enhance skills and service delivery.
  • Partner with external trainers or corporate learning teams for specialized modules.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and staff progression through development plans.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Implement initiatives that promote staff satisfaction, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and well-being initiatives.
  • Act as a mediator in conflict resolution and employee relations.

5. Performance Management & Succession Planning

  • Drive the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and alignment with business goals.
  • Work with managers to set KPIs and development goals for their teams.
  • Identify and groom future leaders within the hotel.

6. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, employee benefits, and welfare programs in partnership with Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, Work Injury Compensation Act, CPF, and other statutory requirements.
  • Develop fair and competitive compensation frameworks to attract and retain talent.

7. HR Administration & Systems

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS systems, and reports.
  • Prepare HR metrics (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, training hours) for management and owners.
  • Continuously improve HR processes through technology and automation.
