Magpie in Tiong Bahru is a vibrant neighbourhood bistro which provides A class service along side the borderless soul food and drink options.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend customer service according to procedures and standards.
• Assisting and ensure a smooth daily service operations (opening and closing, taking orders, table setting, cleaning.)
• Basic cashiering duties.
• To provide service according to procedures and standards
• To handle the beverage order.
• To be familiar with and retain information on the menu.
• To recommend and promote all items on the menu or specials to guests.
• To handle guest complaints and feedbacks effectively and communicate to the immediate supervisor for follow up.
• To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance and deportment at all times.
• To clean up section area after service and maintain cleanliness of the area.
• Effectively communicate with rest of the team to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Maintains the restaurant culture and ambience at all times.
• To perform other related duties as required by the manager.

Job Requirements:

• No experience welcome, but is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Personable, charming and outgoing personality, with a strong service-attitude.
