Kitchen Team Lead - Japanese Cuisine (5-Day Week)

Join a team where precision, passion, and teamwork come together to deliver authentic Japanese dining experiences. We're looking for a Kitchen Team Lead who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their craft, and can lead by example while supporting the growth of junior team members.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook signature Japanese dishes from sushi and donburi to tempura and grilled specialties
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Lead and mentor junior staff on prep, cooking, and plating techniques
• Step in for the Sous Chef or Head Chef when needed
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and consistency during service
• Assist with inventory checks and ingredient ordering to keep the kitchen well-stocked

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of hands-on kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus)
• Strong knife skills and a good eye for presentation
• Ability to stay calm and reliable under pressure
• A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to cleanliness and quality
• Flexibility to work 5 days a week on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
