We are looking for a dance instructor focusing on ballet and contemporary dance:

1. Prepare and teach stimulating classes in classical ballet/contemporary dance to students and prepare students for a potential professional career in dance
2. Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and syllabi
3. Explain and demonstrate proper techniques
4. Teach our Elite Program
5. Teach the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum and prepare students for RAD examinations
6. Teach private classes as assigned by the Branch Principal.
7. Assist in preparation & participate in competitions and performances
8. Assist in preparation and assist & participate in RAD exam days
9. Ability to connect and capture students' attention, deliver information clearly, concisely and effectively
10. Establish and communicate clear objectives
11. Maintain student attendance records
12. Nurture each student to maximize his/her dance potential
13. Assessment and support of individual student learning styles
14. At the end of each Term, prepare Progress Reports for each student as per Company requirements
15. Effective and timely communication in person and through email with varied school directors and colleagues
16. Support of school-wide initiatives and programs
17. To support colleagues and work whole-heartedly for the good of the school
18. Work reflectively to set goals, receive constructive feedback and try new strategies to improve student achievement
