We're seeking an experienced and passionate Cafe Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, staff, and customer service, while maintaining high standards of quality and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
2. Customer Service:
- Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve customer complaints.
- Develop and implement customer loyalty programs.
3. Operations Management:
- Manage daily cafe operations, including inventory, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality control.
- Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses.
4. Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the owner/operator to develop promotions and events.
5. Financial Management:
- Manage cafe finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Proven experience as a cafe manager or similar role.
2. Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Basic math and financial management skills.
3. Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
