Job Description

• Deliver basic and advanced respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary issues.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services.
• Conduct and manage procedures such as Mechanical ventilation support/ Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)/ Assisting in endotracheal intubations/ Arterial blood gas sampling and analysis/ Assisting during bronchoscopy procedures
• Participate in ward rounds with medical teams to assess and optimize respiratory care plans.
• Provide education and training to healthcare team members, students, and patients as appropriate.
• Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting on respiratory therapy (RT) equipment.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives in the department and mentor students

Requirements:

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Registered with valid AHPC practicing certificate
• Able to work independently
