Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health,Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree is highly desirable.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a dedicated safety role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Extensive experience in the construction or related heavy industry is required.

Certifications:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety
• Technologist (OHST) certification is required.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Skills:

• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and the ability to present complex data to senior leadership.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in safety management systems and advanced data analysis software.
• Expert ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
