JOB DUTIES

• Provide professional, compassionate, and clinically appropriate care to all patients under the care of Big-Foot Medicare.

• Respond to non-emergency calls, including hospital discharges, medical appointments, dialysis transportation, and inter-facility transfers.

• Attend to cross-border transfers and medical standby assignments when deployed.

• Ensure all medical equipment is functional, clean, and stocked before and after each shift or patient transfer.

• Assist patients safely in and out of the vehicle using stretchers, wheelchairs, or walking aids, applying proper manual handling techniques at all times.

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and condition throughout the journey, perform basic triaging, and report any deterioration to the relevant medical personnel or facility.

• Keep accurate, clear records of patient condition, procedures, and transport logs.

• Ensure strict adherence to infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures during all duties.

• Ensure proper patient handover and communicate essential medical and transport information.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as crew leader in the Medical Transport Vehicle, ensuring coordination with the driver and providing direction during transport.

• Report incidents, accidents, or safety breaches immediately to your supervisor and CGO.

• Adhere strictly to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and medical transport guidelines.

• Perform pre-shift checks to ensure medical supplies and equipment are functional and fully stocked.

• Wear the designated uniform in accordance with the organization's uniform and hygiene policy.

• Participate in pre-shift toolbox briefings and post-shift debriefings as required.

• Maintain professionalism and provide courteous service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

• Comply with company policies, including confidentiality, no-smoking, and social responsibility standards.

• Ensure all documentation, including consent forms and patient records, is completed and submitted promptly after each shift.

• Support the company's goal of delivering safe, reliable, and compassionate medical transport services.
