We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in AI/ML systems to lead the transformation of Command & Control (C2) platforms into AI-enabled systems delivering real-time situational awareness, predictive analytics, and decision support for homeland agencies.

You will manage projects end-to-end - from concept to deployment - ensuring alignment with operational needs, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration into mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic AI Development

• Define and execute AI transformation roadmap for C2 systems.
• Identify AI use cases for situational awareness, incident response, and decision automation.

Solution Design & Integration

• Architect and oversee integration of AI capabilities (e.g., Computer Vision, NLP, anomaly detection) into operational environments.
• Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts in video analytics, incident summarisation, and pattern detection.

Data & Model Management

• Develop strategies for data acquisition, cleaning, labelling, and fusion from diverse sources (sensor feeds, video, public datasets).
• Manage model lifecycle: training, testing, deployment, and feedback loops.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with product managers, engineers, DevSecOps, and public agency stakeholders.
• Ensure AI solutions meet cybersecurity, performance, and regulatory standards.

Innovation & Capability Building

• Benchmark against global AI best practices (e.g., Project Maven, Aurora AI).
• Build future-ready AI capabilities (tools, platforms, and talent).

Qulaification And Requirements

Technical Skills:

• AI/ML development for real-time systems (e.g., CV, NLP, sensor fusion)
• AI integration into mission-critical systems

Work Experience

• Minimum 7 years' experience in applied AI, with at least 3 years in systems-level leadership.
• Proven track record managing large-scale AI or technology integration projects.
• Experience with public sector or homeland security-related systems preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
• Knowledge of ethical AI, explainability, and AI governance principles is an advantage.
