Job Purpose & Objectives

• To support the Client Coverage SEA and India team to explore business opportunities with the clients in the respective geographies primarily in TMT sector along with their business expansion into BBVA footprint countries;

• To support Client Coverage SEA and India team to grow business, deepen the relationship with existing clients and onboard new TMT corporate client relationships;

• To maximize the revenues and profitability of the Bank through originating cross-selling activities in the region and globally;

Key Responsibilities

• Assist SEAI Coverage Head to expand the TMT corporate portfolio with an aim to achieve business targets, while providing good customer services and maintaining sound credit quality;

• Develop, manage and monitor a portfolio of SEAI clients (with a TMT Focus) by extending appropriate banking facilities including cross-selling of corporate products, with the objective to maximize the Bank's profitability, business growth and ensure a quality credit portfolio;

• Build and monitor strong and lasting relationships with Corporate Banking customers and identify

business potentials with an aim to support overall business growth and achieve revenue targets;

• Coordinate with TMT Sector Head and the Global Sector Team as well as with various business lines in BBVA footprint countries to support SEAI client business expansion;

• Deliver high quality underwriting recommendations based on sound judgment, and a systematic and consistent approach in line with Bank's policies;

• Prepare business proposals and formulate account strategy with associated income forecast, maximize return from the clients by cross selling and promoting various products and services of the Bank;

• Maintain regular client contact for daily servicing matters and ongoing account monitoring;

• Work closely with product teams and risk teams to make the appropriate strategy on the clients to grow business;

• Liaise with legal and compliance departments to complete documentation and KYC procedures;

• Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning and management decision;

Job Specifications

Qualification & Experience

• A university degree in business, finance, economics or related field, master degree is preferred

• Client coverage experience with TMT sector focus in SEA is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Broad general knowledge, high versatility and flexibility, great attention to details, good logical and

critical thinking, a sharp and analytical mind

• PC literacy (Microsoft Office including word, excel and powerpoint)

• Proactive with good interpersonal and communication skills

Language

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin and/or other SEA languages (Thai, Bahasa) would be a plus

• Spanish is an advantage
