The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in the insurance technology domain, a structured and proactive delivery mindset, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery for the claims platform implementation in Singapore.
• Serve as the primary project point of contact for the customer in Singapore-driving planning, execution, tracking, and governance activities.
• Coordinate closely with India-based product and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery, issue resolution, and alignment to local needs.
• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans with rigor.
• Run regular project status meetings, provide updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders, and ensure adherence to committed milestones.
• Proactively track open items, manage escalations, and resolve bottlenecks without compromising delivery quality.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and ownership across the extended delivery team.
• Ensure that customer expectations are managed effectively without scope creep or avoidable delays.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8-12 years of project management experience in enterprise software or IT implementation.
• Proven success managing insurance platform implementations (experience in claims systems is a strong advantage).
• Strong understanding of insurance workflows, preferably in health or life claims in the Singapore context.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-border teams (India and Singapore), managing timezone, cultural, and coordination challenges.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
• Experience with structured delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid models).
• Strong command over documentation, planning tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA), and governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects for insurers operating in Singapore.
• Familiarity with Singapore-specific insurance regulations and claim processing constructs.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Note:

This is a delivery leadership role - not an account management position. The candidate must be hands-on in managing project execution, while effectively representing the implementation team in front of the customer.
