Purpose Statement

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced innovation specialist to design, pilot, execute, and scale integrated deep tech solutions for MedTech use cases inside and outside the operating theatre. This role focuses on HCP experiential education and functional innovation using cutting-edge hardware, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Global A.I. Commercial COE. The specialist will contribute to the development and integration of AI-driven features into solutions that enhance clinical outcomes, sales enablement, and stakeholder engagement.

Who You Are: You are a hands-on MedTech professional with expertise in hardware innovation, AI integration, and clinical environments such as operating theatres. You excel at working with cross-functional teams, engaging KOLs, and ensuring solutions meet clinical, operational, and regulatory needs. You bring practical execution skills, innovation mindset, and the ability to adapt solutions for diverse regional healthcare markets.

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Associate Commercial Director, Global Commercial A.I. COE, you will work with Global Remote Case Support, R&D, QA, clinical specialists, IT, and commercial leaders to define requirements, pilot solutions, and scale them globally. You will support HCP engagement efforts, contribute to innovation roadmaps, and ensure solutions deliver measurable value to internal stakeholders and external users.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution & Collaboration
  • Contribute to the execution of integrated innovation initiatives aligned with commercial and technology strategies from the A.I. COE
  • Partner with HCP KOLs to validate solutions and collect feedback for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support solution design and delivery within agreed budgets and timelines
  • Assist in tailoring AI-driven and mixed reality features to meet operational and clinical needs in scaled MedTech environments

Operational & Technical Contribution
  • Support the operational rollout of innovation projects, including pilot deployments, change management, and adoption programs
  • Map unmet needs with HCPs, Sales, and Clinical teams to inform technology solution design
  • Work closely with AI COE teams to integrate ML models and AI insights into solutions
  • Coordinate with IT and other functions to ensure seamless integration into existing systems

Innovation & Expertise
  • Monitor emerging innovation trends relevant to MedTech, identifying opportunities for proof-of-concept projects
  • Support the development of scalable hardware/software solutions adaptable to various healthcare markets
  • Benchmark solutions against industry best practices to recommend refinements

Regulatory & Compliance
  • Ensure all initiatives comply with healthcare regulations and relevant policies (AI, data privacy, HIPAA, GDPR, PDPA)


Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, IT, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in MedTech or related industry, including hands-on exposure to operating theatres
  • Experience in hardware innovation in clinical settings and working knowledge of AI
  • Strong project execution and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in working cross-functionally with global teams
  • Fluent in English


Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have):
  • Experience in mixed reality technologies for MedTech
  • Exposure to remote case support or similar operating theatre settings
  • Understanding of user experience design in clinical solutions
