Design Manager

Location: City Hall
Working Days: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: S$ 6,000 - 7,000

Requirements

✔ Master's in Architecture (recognized institution)
✔ 8+ years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership

• Oversee design, technical compliance, contracts, cost, and timelines.
• Lead conceptual & detailed designs, value engineering (Tender/ ECI Stage).
• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals.

2. Compliance & Quality

• Guarantee adherence to codes, standards, and regulations.

3. Contract & Coordination

• Support contract administration and project timelines.
• Coordinate Design/ Technical aspects with consultants and contractors.
• Review construction Docs/ Drawings; conduct site walks.

4. Team & Client Management

• Lead meetings, Presentations, and Client updates.
• Bridge communication between teams, Clients, and Stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff, ensuring quality and clear direction.

5. Problem-Solving

• Resolve complex Design/ Technical issues.
• Innovate solutions for project challenges.
