• Managing the daily operations of a café involves several key responsibilities such as leading the staff, keeping track of inventory, and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction
• Having the ability to create and manage employee schedules is essential, such as finding a substitute if a staff member is sick or absent for their shift
• Proactively identifying strategies to reduce operational costs
• Monitor budgets to ensure that the café remains profitable. Actively find ways to lower operational costs while expanding the cafés customer base
• Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed
• Work closely with customers to answer questions and listen to complaints regarding food quality and customer service before working to resolve those complaints promptly
• Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback
• Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and maintain a clean and organized work environment

qualifications and experience:

• At least 1 to 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food and hospitality industry.
• Inspires team to exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate business needs.
• Possess a food handler's license and maintain awareness of food health and safety regulations.
• Exemplary management, organizational, and time management skills, complemented by strong communication and customer service abilities.
