Position Overview

The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing brand visibility, and expanding market share through effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage client relationships, identify business opportunities, and execute marketing initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and event-based initiatives.
  • Manage content creation for social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams for marketing collaterals.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and new opportunities.

3. Account Management

  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer enquiries, quotations, and orders.
  • Work closely with internal departments (operations, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports and marketing activity updates for management review.
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for both sales and marketing activities.

Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in [industry-e.g., FMCG, beverages, consumer goods].
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with social media marketing tools and CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • 5-day work week; occasional weekend or evening work for events.
  • Travel may be required for client meetings or marketing activities.
