Position Overview
As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in animals, while building strong, trusting relationships with clients. You'll work closely with our team of nurses, technicians, and receptionists to ensure each patient receives the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for a variety of companion animals
- Conduct surgical and dental procedures
- Develop and communicate treatment plans with pet owners
- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care instructions
- Supervise and mentor veterinary nurses and technicians
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with valid license to practice
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a veterinary clinical setting preferred (new graduates will be considered)
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
- Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
