Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Learning Environment - Provide a secure and nurturing atmosphere where children feel comfortable and confident.
• Curriculum Delivery - Conduct lessons according to the centre's approved curriculum, using varied teaching and caring methods to ensure high-quality learning and development.
• Activity Planning - Plan and facilitate engaging experiences such as songs, games, and storytelling that support holistic development.
• Lesson Planning & Documentation - Prepare detailed lesson plans outlining learning objectives, differentiated tasks, and assessments for submission to the Principal or authorised officer.
• Classroom Management - Maintain a tidy, well-organised, and resourceful classroom, ensuring equipment and materials are properly cared for and accessible.
• Observation & Assessment - Use varied observation methods to track children's holistic development, maintaining records and individual portfolios/reports.
• Parent Engagement - Build positive and open communication with parents regarding children's progress and well-being.
• Work Schedule - Adhere to assigned work shifts as determined by the centre's operational schedule.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Preschool Teaching (DPT) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (recognised by ECDA/MOE).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing positively as part of a team.
