Senior Project Manager: Air Traffic Control (ATC) Systems ✈️

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the full lifecycle of our Air Traffic Control (ATC) communication systems projects. This is a mission-critical role where you will oversee complex, turn-key solutions that are essential for aviation safety and efficiency. Your work will directly impact the seamless operation of air navigation services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Project Execution: Guide and manage all aspects of ATC communication projects, overseeing cost control, schedule management, risk assessment, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
• Drive Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, particularly within the aviation and government sectors.
• Ensure Commercial & Contractual Oversight: Supervise all commercial and contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with our internal governance processes and mitigating risks effectively.
• Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with sales teams on tender management and contract preparation, and with interdisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and execution.

Your Profile

• Experience & Education: You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field. You bring a minimum of 8 years of proven experience managing complex projects specifically within Air Traffic Control, Naval, or Defense Communication Systems, with a strong track record of delivering turn-key solutions.
• Professional Certification: You hold a Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI, or IPMA Level C).
• Technical Acumen: You possess extensive expertise in systems engineering models, integrating diverse technologies, and managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Business Savvy: You have strong business acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively bridge technology and business objectives.
• Personal Attributes: You are self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
